In one of the worst news-making snow storms Atlanta, Georgia has ever seen we drove through to Knoxvlle, Tennesee to pick up our new 40' Tiffin Phaeton RV. |
With 4 flat screen TVs (one outside), a king-sized Select Comfort bed, convection microwave oven and gas stove, washer/dryer and full-size refrigerator & freezer; we are "Roughing It" Smoothly. |

Three days later, we were wearing shorts and sipping champagne in Ft. Myers, Florida where our friends Dwayne & Marcia Ballew, and Don & Liz Coonfer threw us a motorhome warming party at our camp site. |
We planned to enjoy living right in the middle of some beautiful places in nature, but when the alligators swam within 30 ft. of our RV in Port Charlotte, FL; we thought we might be a little too close. |

Bob Tiffin, the owner of Tiffin Motorhomes, shared a laugh with us at the Sarasota Tiffin Rally. |
After attending seminars and presentations at the Rally, we received hands-on training on how to take care of our RV from Tiffin technicians. |
In Red Bay, Alabama, where all Tiffin RVs are manufactured, Paul inspected the work being done on our coach. That's a lot of machine hovering up in the air! |
Of course, we took time out to see the nearby tourist sites like Helen Keller's home and the Coon Dog cemetery, pictured above. |
Back in Arkansas, we found a great site on Greers Ferry Lake. Paul sat having coffee and enjoying the view of the bluffs across the lake. Later in the day, we went swimming and fishing along the banks. |
