Spain 2008
Paul, Barb and Vicki accompanied 26 students to
Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, Cuenca, Valencia and Barcelona for 16 days.
It was a great trip!
Our group at the Valle de los Caídos

Lorenzo, Jorge, Consuelo, Barb, Paul, Gema and her "novio" having tapas in Madrid.

Just outside of Cuenca is the Ciudad Encantada, an area of strange rock formations.

In Valencia it was hard to believe the fallas were made of
papier maché and flowers. . .

and the burning at midnight was spectacular!

In Barcelona, Parque Guell is like walking in a piece of art.

Paul at the 4 Cats (Picasso's old hangout)

Vicki at Montserrat

Girona's Old City

Seafood platter in Cadaqués

Sausage tree and snails in Sitges

Dessert wine and cookies followed the meal.

Who'd have thought the Last Supper took place on the beach in Sitges?!!
